American Tire Distributors Announces Executive Leadership Appointments to Drive Growth and Strategic Focus
Huntersville, NC — October 14, 2025 — American Tire Distributors (ATD) today announced two key leadership appointments that will strengthen its strategic direction and accelerate growth across its business.
Todd Sanders has been promoted to Chief Sales Officer. In this role, Sanders will lead ATD’s sales organization, customer service operations, and Tire Pros franchise development. He will be responsible for driving a comprehensive sales strategy across all channels, with a focus on alignment, performance, and deepening customer engagement.
Sanders brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the automotive aftermarket. Most recently, he served as ATD’s Senior Vice President of Business Development & Strategy, where he played a pivotal role in guiding growth initiatives and aligning new opportunities with the company’s long-term vision. Prior to joining ATD, Sanders held senior leadership roles at Advance Auto Parts as Senior Vice President of Professional Sales and at CarQuest Auto Parts as Vice President of Professional Markets, where he successfully led commercial sales growth and developed impactful customer programs.
Keith Calcagno has been named Chief Strategy Officer, Proprietary Brands. In this newly created role, Calcagno will lead the development and execution of ATD’s long-term strategy for its private label brands, with a focus on driving growth, innovation, and profitability.
A seasoned ATD executive, Calcagno has been instrumental in shaping the company’s strategic direction for more than two decades. He has led the development of new business ventures and forged key partnerships with leading tire and wheel brands. His strong financial background includes leadership roles in corporate and supply chain finance and strategic planning at DaimlerChrysler (now Stellantis) and K-Mart.
